Received TV quickly and worked fine, once out of the box and connected via component cables, and a DVD player. After turning off the first time, but every time I tried to boot it, it would go to the ViewSonic logo, sit for a few seconds, then restart itself! No button input (from remote or bottom panel) would work.
I called Viewsonic, and the phone tech had me try the "hard reset". Did not work. They said it was something lacking in hardware, and to return it.
I requested a replacement via Amazon, and again got the replacement very quickly. Exactly the same happened with this one! It would work for the first time, then go into a loop at any time after this! I even hooked this TV up in another room, thought it might be a kind of surge.
I guess that ViewSonic put out a bad batch. No compensation this time, just a refund.
