I bought this television from a warehouse club and bought Peerless articulate arm (via Amazon) to mount the TV in my kitchen. First and foremost, I would advise you to aeshtetics of this LCD TV is beautiful, and the shiny piano black front facade and blue tint on the bottom will look great with most kitchens. Moreover, the form factor is very small compared to the 19 "size TV, and works a lot with a wall mount.
The picture seems to be "typical Samsung," but, unfortunately, the sound also seems to be "typical Samsung." The former is a compliment, but the latter is definitely not a compliment. Another reviewer said the sound expected from the bottom of the set, I have no control, but it sounds like it will be projected from a Campbell's soup can. I'm only half-laughing, because the sound is actually okay, at best, (given its size) if you mess with the built-in equalizer. For those of you who are dissatisfied with the extent of the preset sound packages, I highly recommend "Custom" and then messing with the equalizer to increase the volume.
The pros are that the picture is excellent, the set itself is very attractive and the price is very reasonable from Amazon (with free shipping). Now the only real Con I have is the bad sound from this device (would not it be great if Samsung teamed up with JBL, Altec Lansing, or Infinity on their televisions ... hint, hint, Samsung).
